Do Not Read was commissioned by Transworld Publishers to promote the book How To Forget. Not wanting to spoil any of the plot, we decided to instead concentrate on the catchy title. We also decided some reverse psychology would generate intregue. It was shot over a couple of days in various locations in West London.
The film was designed as a number of mini stories, a woman forgets her baby on the bus, a business man forgets his trousers, an examinee forgets his work, and a house is plastered with post-it reminders. Each story was then edited down to a quick sting film so that there could be variation posted on social media over time rather than the same thing promoted over and over.
